Hi, I’m Brittney!

I’m so thankful for your interest in Blue Thistle! You’ll find that I have a huge passion to create dreamy florals for dreamy clients!

I never thought that flower design would be my profession. The Lord opened numerous doors that brought me to officially launch Blue Thistle at the end of 2017. He has blessed me with a creative outlet in the wedding industry that has grown into a career over the last few years. It is mind blowing, and even beyond my wildest dreams. I’m truly thankful to serve the best clients on their best day ever!
I believe that the extraordinary is found in the ordinary! I’m married to my dream guy and we have three beautiful kiddos. I must have coffee to set the days tone. I obsess over small details, and I am a sucker for a good beat. Spring and Fall are my favorite seasons. I love the Lord and have found so much joy in sharing His goodness with my children.

I don’t have a store-front, and prefer not to. I create all of the floral magic in our home studio - it’s extremely convenient to keep up with my family while running the business.

We are slowly turning our 1970s home into our forever home, one renovation at a time. We hope to expand in the near future by building a larger studio/micro-event space and planting a small cutting garden!

Hi, I’m Kayla!

I am your behind-the-scenes girl here at Blue Thistle. However, my start with Blue Thistle actually began in 2018 as a Bride!

As soon as I met Brittney for our consultation, I knew she was special. Her eye for floral design was one of a kind and her calming spirit made me feel so at ease. On the day-of, she even worked alongside my mom to surprise me with the added detail of wrapping my bouquet in pieces from my grandmother's wedding dress. My flowers are still one of my favorite parts of the day and I owe it all to Brittney. She is truly so talented! She goes above and beyond for her brides and I feel incredibly lucky that I got to be one. Fast forward to now, where I feel even more lucky to get to work with her on planning out the floral visions of current brides, like you!

When I'm not gushing over Brittney's latest creations, you can find me sipping a latte (pretty much at any time of day!), thrifting for that perfect vintage piece to add to my home, cheering on the Atlanta Braves, or exploring a new city with my husband.

We are excited you're here and I can't wait to plan with you!
